Something that showed my growth was the 30 Day Challenge. We did the 30 Day Challenge in first quarter. The 30 Day Challenge took place in September and October. The 30 Day Challenge was created so we could increase our endurance in either, upper body, core, or cardiovascular endurance. Upper body endurance is your muscles from your arms to your chest, and is demonstrated by how many pushups you can do. Cardiovascular endurance is how long you can do a cardio activity (An activity that works your heart) and is demonstrated by how fast you can run the mile. Core endurance is your abdominal muscles and is shown by how many sit-ups you can do. First we took three tests, a pushup test, a sit-up test, and we ran the mile. The FITT principle is a way to measure if your plan to reach your goal is plausible. FITT stands for frequency, intensity, time, and type. We have the FITT principle to make sure we can achieve our goals. Speaking of goals our goals have special criteria as well they are called SMART goals. SMART stands for specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and timely. We had to use all of these to make sure our goal was plausible. My goal was to increase the amount of pushups I could do from zero to 2 in a span of 30 days. By increasing the amount of pushups I could do that would show that I increased in upper body muscular
