When Christopher got home from school, his appetite always turned into a lively beast. I was bizarre how hungry, he got. So, he went to the fridge and got a Clementine. The petite thing just wasn’t enough to fill his vigorous stomach. He relocated his lean body to the pantry, and grabbed a box of delicious wasabi chips. Where’s Cristof, Chris thought as he walked out of his family's gargantuan pantry. Usually his treasured cat, Cristof would come to meet him, but he figured the cat had better things to do. After he threw a wasabi chip into his mouth, he realized just how good the little potato slices were. He loved the way the slowly burned through his mouth reminding him of his burning passion for Baseball. He had just scored a home run in the last game after all. If only his team could beat the Littletown Giants. All l of that thinking about Baseball had made Chris hungry, as he realized when he stared into the empty bag. He hopped down off of the chair to throw the bag away, he noticed a furry little blob growling at him on the floor.

One last try Chris though, as he dialed the phone. His parents always had his back, and he kind of relied on them for that. But the one time he really needed them, his finger had been eaten after all, they didn’t answer. Phone in hand, he sat down and started crying. “P-P-Please answer” he bawled into the phone. All he wanted was for his mother or father to pick up the phone. He cried in pain, for his finger, and for his longing for his parents. He had it set in his mind, They would make it ok, my parents would. Or his cat, his brother almost, what would happen to him, he pondered as he sat on the floor. He heard a horrific scream from behind him and turned around to look. He turned around to a frightful fiendish

On Wednesday April 27, 2016 at approximately 8:50 A.M. I arrived with another online student, Sarah Johnson, at the Allegany County Circuit Court at the address of 30 Washington Street, Cumberland MD, 21502. The judge for that morning was W. Timothy Finan. Upon entering the front door, you had to put all of your stuff in tubs that they ran through the security scanner; while they were doing that, you walked through a scanner as well. On the other side you reclaimed your items. The security officer then directed us upstairs to the second court room.…

Everyone looked up, even the boy’s father let go of him for a moment to see what it was. Suddenly, the sister came running in, bloody tears streaming her face, her arms wrapped around herself, and her mouth open in a silent scream. The father moved to help her and to let the boy go, but the sister just looked at him and shook her head. “Finish your job.” She said before looking at her brother and staring.…

I was 23 before I was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder. As far back as Elementary school I knew that there was something “off” in the way that I processed information. That my ability to do well academically was somehow hindered by not having certain tools that I needed, tools I wasn’t even aware existed. In high school, I began to augment my deficits with strengths. Where my grades were lacking I made up for it through creativity; I excelled at art and photography.…

In the 9th grade, I had the opportunity to tutor a third grader named Nina in the Koreh LA program. She was nearly half my height, but we shared the same friendly smile and eagerness to learn. From the first day we met, I knew that we were going to have a fantastic time, but I didn’t realize how much of an impact it would have on the both of us. As we read books, we came across words I assumed she was unfamiliar with. She wouldn't show her lack of understanding, but I would keep her from turning to the next page to ask her if she knew what the higher level words meant.…

I was afraid. Standing on the moist morning field, I look up at the sky, a big white blanket covers all I could reach to see. The finals had arrived, and I, with trembling legs, took my place on the field, ready to commence. On the windy lukewarm night of October 13, 2012, my life changed in a positive way. That day was the day I got my first dog, a female Shih Tzu, and I remember that day vividly. It all started as soon as I woke up with crazy bed hair, and I had a feeling that something would happen. After I woke up, I got dressed, had a nutritious breakfast, and went off to school. That Wednesday was a very stressful day due to the many things I had to do, which were to write an essay for English, a group history project, and a new lesson in Algebra 1.…
