Nothing Stranger The week before anything had happened; it was just a normal day in Chicago. The weather was perfect, birds were singing, everyone was alive and well. A group of kids went to one of their friends houses on that Saturday to hangout and catch up on the new hit show that everyone at school has been talking about, Stranger Things. Michelle, Maple, Vince, and Joey all headed to Joey’s house to enjoy the day binge watching some Netflix. They enjoyed all eight episodes of the first season and now they were on the second season. Halfway through the second season they noticed that their surroundings were all dark, just like the show.
“Guys..”, said Michelle
“Look out the window!”, she screamed this time.
When everyone gathered around the window, they could not believe what they were looking at.

This is what the world was called in the show they were watching. There were snowflakes falling from the sky, the lights were sparking and there was also a big, tall, dark looking monster in the midst of it all.
“OH NO!!!!!!”, screamed Joey, “IT’S A DEMAGORGON”
“Oh no!”, yelled Maple, “What are we going to do???”
“How did this happen?? One moment we were watching the show and then our world just flipped upside down” said Vince
“Haha, you said upside down, get it?? Just like in Stranger Things…. Their world is upside down too.” said Joey.
“Really, Joey” said Michelle, “this is not a joking matter.” The children continued to try and figure out what exactly was going on. They were not sure that they knew what to do next. All they knew is that they were really tired.
