Personal Narrative: Stew Cat

It was April sixth 1986 and I was still on the island and I was lonely without Timothy. Every day I listen for airplanes or a boat to come by. I listen to the birds cries all around me. I went to the sea to fish for langostas and sea grapes. I went back to the hut to make a fire. Stew Cat and I sat there eating. I Realized it was getting dark. I went into the hut and Stew Cat was following me into the hut. I woke up the next morning. I went to find food for me and Stew Cat. I made a basket to put in some food that I had collected. I went for a adventure to see what I can find to eat and some to put in the basket for later. I found some coconuts on the ground and I found langostas to put in the the basket. I went back to the hut and I put the basket of coconuts and langostas in the hut. I started the fire and I got a coconut and langosta I put the langosta on a stick and I put it in the fire. I made I fishing pole to fish. I was thinking what to do that day. I went fishing and I got a fish. I went to get Stew Cat back at the hut. I was trying to find him but I could not find him. I started to look for him every where on the island. Finally I found him sleeping under a palm tree. I picked up Stew Cat and went back to the hut. I went into the hut and I went to sleep with Stew Cat curled up beside me. The morning I woke up by a strange sound. I knew it was a airplane. I jumped up and I ran to the fire. I started it and the airplane saw it and it landed on the beach. A man walked out of the airplane he said come with me I can take you to your mother. I grab Stew Cat and the man helped me in my mother was waiting for me when I got off the airplane. She took me to the hospital and they checked me over and they fixed my eye site. I told my mother all about Timothy and about the island. I was glad I was back home in Curaçao. But I missed Timothy and the fun we had on the island
