About a week ago I turned on the television and the news was on. When it came on it was talking about the Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock, and how the shooting could have been prevented. The news stated the he had some sort of Autism or Asperger’s, the man bought ten suitcases into his hotel room and had the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door for three days. Finally, the night of the Route 91 Harvest music festival he shot a security guard. Then he shot out of his hotel room window toward the concert killing fifty-eight people and injuring about five-hundred people. These people were not expecting they would be getting shot at the concert. The day before these people were thinking they were going to have fun not getting shot. I believe bad things can happen, but tomorrow will be a better day. …show more content…

That day I wasn’t expecting to go to the hospital or have chopsticks down my throat. Even though the situation could have been way worse, I was not expecting anything like that to happen.

Anything can happen, good or bad, so why not live it to the fullest. If something is bad one day that doesn’t mean the next day will be just as bad or worse. The following day could be better or worse. We cannot see in the future so we don’t know what will happen. If you do what’s right so nothing intentional can happen then the destiny of life is not in your

In the three essays written by Dillard, Appiah, and Pratt, they all use different examples but focus overall on the same “big picture”. They’re all part of a larger conversation, but they each stepped back and put in their own point of view on this subject. The main subject they all discuss is seeing. Dillard talks about how what people see is what they get. If they look for positivity and see positivity in everything, then they will get positivity out of it, and vice versa.…

Acting in the way of the Columbine shooters is very often a case of mental unwellness and finding this out can help us get them help, thus preventing the act from occurring in the first place. Dylan Klebold’s mother has confirmed her son’s lack of mental health through a piece of paper written by him explaining his pain in a Ted Talk in front of people affected by the attack, he stated that he was cutting himself, that he was in agony, and that he wanted a gun to commit suicide. She is trying to look into his mental health and why it would lead to murder, stating “I’m trying to understand how his suicidal thinking led to murder.” She says that she believes that “his involvement in the shootings was rooted not in his desire to kill, but in his desire to die.” She didn’t know how severe his mental illness truly was until the shooting had come to pass and it was already too late.…

It was October 1st, 2017 at the Route 91 Harvest Festival when Stephen Craig Paddock (the shooter) on the 32nd Floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel he shot down at 22,000 people with his more than 10 rifles that he had stored in his room. Sadly 58 people were killed in this attack and around 515 people were severely injured. Now if guns were illegal in America this event wouldn’t be possible and It might have never taken place and hundreds of families and people wouldn’t be affected by this incident. If guns weren’t legal in the US than Stephen Craig Paddock (the shooter) would have never gotten hold of those riffles and shot down at 22,000 people. Again America you could have stopped this!…
