I do not want to say that I give up on doing well in the mini-exams, but not matter what I do I still get a bad grade. This frustrates me a lot. Before coming to UMass I did have problems taking exams but at least, I used to pass them. I know is not your fault. I’m really worried about my grade. I’m not the type of student that waits until the last week of the semester to talk with the professor about my grade or how can I improve grades. I did all the extra credit in SONA and going to the discussion on Wednesdays. I also did the survey online. I wanted to ask you for another opportunity

Ms. Herring said shortly after Mr. Mott pushed her from their porch he pushed her into their bed and kneed her in her right leg causing redness and swelling around her knee. She was simply asleep. After finding a pillow for her head, I left her to enjoy it. (37) MY SATURDAY MORNINGS WERE RESERVED for Christina Heal: a devoutly religious woman who might have been older than Jesus Christ himself with a pear shaped body and hazel eyes that once twinkled upon hearing my stories. It was a particularly warm day for fall in New York; so I decided to stroll down to Ms. Heal’s office on Forty-Fourth Street. The sun glistened in the sky and the children playing baseball in the park reminded me of my conversation about baseball books with Holly from the other night at her party.…

Nicolina, I recently wrote down a list of all the things that we had when we were together. We shared laughs on that old mustard couch with the afternoon sun pouring in our living room where we shared laughs and stress with Layla running after catnip bubbles. We were an unstoppable force together, yet we ended up derailed and destructive, dumping what we had in the dumpster and watched it decimate before our very eyes. My heart hurts whenever I look back. It aches for those moments where we called each other sisters, shared laughs, tears, and took on the world each day together.…

I hate giving up on something that I was looking forward to passing. Even though I asked if there was any possible way I could get a tutor or someone to help me with the last few papers, Scarborough says, no, we cannot do that if you do not have the basic skills such as reading your paper out loud and not finding the mistakes. She felt badly about the whole situation and even cried when she got the horrible news before I did. Another thing Scarbrough told me was that I was the hardest working student she ever had throughout her teaching career, and I wished that Scarbrough could have helped me learn the basic skills of writing a paper, and be successful when writing a…
