Personal Narrative: Standing Up For My Religion

People are afraid to stand up for what they believe in because they are scared of what other people are gonna say and don’t want to be judged or even told what to do . Every person should not be afraid to speak up for they believe in because if you stand for it you should also defend it. This reminds me of the Puritans who faced kinda of the same thing I went through after people found out what religion I was. This subject reminds me of when I stood up for my religion because some friends knew what I stood for and they used to make fun of me and then one day it all changed. They were taking it to the extreme of making fun me and the religion is stood for which is Apostolic. I knew I had to get rid of them because they were constantly just making fun of me. I lost friends , but they now not my friends for a reason. The story is not really the same because I don't recall anyone losing friends because people made fun of their religion. It was hard because I lost close friends and now they look at me like they don't know me. This reminds me of the Puritans I learned about in history. The Puritans were not liked because of what they stood for in England. They were also made fun of because they stand for things people back then could not stand for at all.
