Why fit in when you can stand out? Fitting in isn't unique, it's blending in with everyone around you. When you fit in you are like a blank page in the showing world. You want you and your animal to look professional and to look like a bright yet dark color on the blank page.

“The Paper”
One day at school in 4th grade my teacher passed a yellow piece of paper out to everyone in the class. It was a 4H paper, I filled it out and tried to persuade my mom into letting me join. About 2 years before I tried to get in but we didn't have time and my little brother and sister were too young. So we filled the paper out and sent it in. I was ready for it and couldn't wait any longer I only had 4 chickens at the fair and they were my favorite. One of my two roosters had a crooked beak and his name was buddy they were very young compared to the other chickens in the barn. I had washed them the night before and then a few minutes before show I wiped their feet of and did my final touches on them. I didn't know a lot about chickens then but I thought I knew everything. While I was feeding and watering the chickens my mom ran to get my number. The number was for showmanship so they knew who I was. The show started shortly after I was done with all my chores. My mom and I were waiting for about an hour before it was my turn. But then I finally went in for showmanship. I felt like I was standing waiting for my turn forever. But once I was next I was ready he asked me the questions and I answered, I had really fun with that and I wish it would have lasted longer. I didn't place but I told myself that I have next year and that I am going to study a lot beforehand. Next it was time to show my birds my mom and I carried the birds to the cages in the show ring and the judge began to work. It didn't take as long as showmanship, I was happy about that. After my first Fair year was over I already had all my list of birds for next year was already made up. My advisor the first meeting reminded my mom about getting turkeys. I talked about it so much that my mom would have to say yes for me to shut up. I even made my dad say yes. Actually he was really mad and kept saying every time I brought it up that “oh we don't have any room, oh their mean and annoying”. So I told him that we weren't getting them and a week later we brought them home he didn't even know until about a week later when he actually looked at
