Personal Narrative: My Life In Saudi Arabia

Throughout the preamble stages of my life, I have been taken care of by my parents who inspire me to join activities and participate in services that are out of my comfort zone. Living in Saudi Arabia for all of my life has been difficult due to the strict laws, however, visiting my home country of Lebanon brings back the feeling of family twice a year. My mother, who has struggled in her childhood living in the aftermath of the Civil War was sheltering in the green valleys of Southern Lebanon, gladly gives me advice on the paths I choose to take and the choices I decide to make. She shows love and care towards me by helping me in every subject in my life, including the personal values I have towards myself. My father, however, aides me in …show more content…
The decisions they have made for me shaped my life and my future. While my father has encouraged me to join extra-curricular activities and be able to handle taking risks, he has inspired me to become the student I want to be. In addition, my mother helped me become a civil and humble human being. She was the one who taught me my manners and my rights and wrongs. They have led me through my world since the beginning of time and always walked beside me. The teenager I have grown to become today relies heavily on what my childhood stood up on, It has inspired me to become a responsible student that is aware of his surroundings, with the help of my parents I have achieved the NJHS Officer position and the Student Body Governments Treasurer. As I look back to the 13 years I have lived in Ras Tanura with the help of my mother and father, I realize that I have achieved many things thanks to my parents. Within these next few years, I will leave the company I have to live alone in the city of Austin. I will continue to prosper to achieve the goals I wish to come to. I will use the recommendations I have received from my parents to prepare me for this moment, in which will always be deeply in my mind for the next period I have in my
