Over the past term and a bit, I feel in general that I have achieved what I was aiming for in concern with creating a halloween container/basket. Starting this assessment with a lot of drawing and sketching and jumbled ideas and designs, I thought that I would be a hard task filled with challenges and difficulties. However it turned out to be the complete opposite. Choosing my final design, which has now been modified and changed, I started the real work. Even though I started this design with little knowledge on clay, I was excited and enthusiastic to learn. I feel that over this time period I have been able to work well, considering that I had two weeks break, whiling firing my clay. I am very happy with the end product and have already discussed with my mum what we are going to do with it. …show more content…
Sculpturing my piece I became aware of many small details I hadn't thought about, including the weight of the entire basket. Reflecting back on it now, I feel as though I could have spend more time on a certain step, which allowed me to scoop out any excess clay inside. Realising the dilemma I had to alter the design so that the basket wouldn't be a complete fail and crumble apart when carry it. So what I had to make a decision on was whether or not to get rid of the monsters legs, in the end I did and I think I made the right choice. Current changes that I wouldn't have liked to touch up would have been the adding teeth. However in the begging I decided not to as it was overcrowding and making the atmosphere and balance worst. So in the end I would have had to change a lot more then keeping the monster

The Delusive Dramatist from Myslenice The girl sat in the corner of the train car, she rotated from rocking herself back and forth in a fetal position and singing to herself softly. Every once in awhile she would pull out her notebook and scribble in it, only when she was sure that no one else was looking, or so she thought. All hours of the day she spoke to herself, setting a tense scene, I could feel the lies as she spoke them, nothing she told herself was true. As a child growing up in Rhode Island, the smallest state in the Union, the idea of a vast planet brimming with civilization and culture was more like something out of a fairy tale than it was reality. So, when my father announced that we would be leaving the country to go to Scotland, the home of his and my ancestors, my world began to expand at a rapid pace. This trip could not have been timed more perfectly. The summer of 2007 marked the end of fourth grade, my first year at Saint Mary Academy Bay View.…

For my media product, I chose to do a storyboard on a bristol board. I settled on the storyboard because I am more familiar with it. Additionally, with the time that I had, I would not be able to make an exceptional 3-D creation and a CD would have been difficult for me. Choosing the chapter was not very difficult because all the parts in the novel were important in their own way.…
