Remember that guy that gave up? Neither does anyone else! The journey to success is always uphill. The only person you have to chase is the one you see in the mirror. Michael Jordan says, "You have to expect things of yourself before you can do them. "Rightly said, success is no easy job and above success takes in a lot of struggle. What’s wrong with the mob is its mentality, running after success doesn’t fetch you any. It’s the struggle that shapes your life.
Did anyone ever expect a girl of Tripura to make India proud in the least popular sport of India? Yes, she is the one, Dipa Karmakar! She managed to entice the masses with her breathtaking performance. Flat footed as she was, she never let her body bar her from the one aspiration she had. Through immense training, she was able to evolve and altered into a supreme gymnast. When you start believing, there are miracles bound to happen.

Never had I looked at the depth of the journey towards victory before. My father came from a middle-class family, who had never experienced an air conditioner, being at late night parties or even having access to a full fledged educational system. I can certainly understand only now, the countless troubles he must have faced to make possible the lavish lifestyle that I live in today. I am sure reading this would have filled you with pride and privilege for your parents too. Keep this feeling in you, because someday you too will probably be a parent and would love to set an example for them just like your parents did for you.
