Personal Narrative: Snow Skiing

For my family vacation when I was 14 my family and I went to Ruidoso, New Mexico to go snow skiing. My Mom, Dad, Brother, and I went the year before, so we decided to invite my aunt or uncles for our second trip.It took us around 10 hours to get there with all the traffic. Since it was going to be such a long drive, we left at midnight. So that we could drive through the night to make the drive seem shorter. We ended up getting there at like 8 or 9 the next morning.
All we wanted to do was hit the slopes, my brother Bodie and I already knew how to ski, so we just went and did our own thing. While my Cousins were in a class to learn how to ski. There was the normal Go-Carts and then there was ones that you could only drive if you had your driver license. Well all the kids were to young so we just did the normal ones, and had a blast. Then another night we had family cookout and camp fire. We cooked burgers and hot dogs, also had smores. We spent a lot of the time chilling out around the fire and tell stories from all different times in everyone’s life. The day after my uncles girlfriend was at the green kiddy lift, well this was only here 3rd day skiing. So as she was getting on the lift, she was to far to one side and the bar picked her up between her legs and took he like 6 feet in the air as she was up the she fell all the way to the ground. When she hit the ground she smacked her face. So that gave us a really good laugh. Then we spent time in the hot tub, when it was like 40 degrees outside.
In spite of falling so much overall it was a very enjoyable trip. Spent very good times with my family and made some hilarious memories.New Mexico was a very beautiful place and really hope to go back soon. Hopefully next time we go Beau will not have as many
