Personal Narrative: Single Parenthood

Throughout my life, my mother has successfully used the resources available to her to insure that my siblings and I would have all of the basic necessities in life and a few delicacies. She works meticulously at being a provider and a nurturing mother to us while trying to reach her own aspirations and dealing with the anxiety that comes with single parenthood. Although we have few means, she engrained in me the need for post-secondary education, academic excellence, and pursuing my passions in life relentlessly.
Upon attending college, I will be one step closer to my dream job (representing my country in Latin American nations), my intellectual appetite will be well fed, and I will have access to (and eventually become a part of) an extensive
