Personal Narrative: Signing With The Assumption Swim Team

6 months ago, I never would have imagined I’d be signing with the Assumption Swim Team. hn joined executive Swim Club in sophomore year, I had a conversation with coach Brian Crawford, about possible schools i could swim for. He gave me many great choices, but when he mentioned Assumption, I couldn’t take him seriously. I told him that i wasnt of that caliber of swimming, but he refused to listen. He simply told me to keep up the good work, because it would pay off in the end. Time flew by, and soon enough i was visiting assumption over the summer. I had the opportunity to meet coach Cromarty. After spending immense time with me, explaining every aspect of the team and campus, i knew this school was where I am supposed to be.
