Personal Narrative: Shifting Weights

Everyone has something that defines who they are. Most people believe that what they’ve done defines who they are, but it’s much more than what you’ve done. It’s what you did to get there, the sacrifices you made; the long countless hours spent doing what you love. For me lifting weights has not only been a way out of the hectic game we call “life”, but a way to express who I am.
The gym my sanctuary, it’s been “home” ever since I could remember. If I’m feeling stressed or aggravated whether it be from school or work, I know home will always be there when I need it.
