As soon as the buzzer rang my team ran on the cold smooth ice like winners.I stepped on the cool ice, and it felt like home away from home. The Rams were wearing orange and white, while my team was wearing black and white. We got in a semi circle and started shooting at Titus, who seemed to me that he gets better and better. After that, we got in two lines and passed to each player, and one by one we would shoot at Titus. Secretly glancing at the Rams. 2 minutes later we huddle up and coach inspires us with a very necessary pep talk I think, and tells us who is out first.

It would be a waste of time and energy. Now me and everyone on my team is happy that we can now do slap shots. Everybody would agree with me when I would say I wish I could do a slap shot.
FLASH BACK TO THE PRESENT
That made me happy. Soon after that they scored on Titus by getting a rebound shot. Coach told us to lift sticks in front of the net for like the millionth time I thought. We scored once more in the 2nd period by Bryce sniping a bar down. If the Rams weren’t angry before, they sure are angry now. Right before the 2nd period ended Drew scored by a snapshot. The buzzer rang shortly after that saying it’s the end of the 2nd period and the start of the 3rd period.
In the third period you could tell that the Rams were beat tired, but they kept trying. The ref skated to the face-off circle and dropped the puck in the middle of me and the Rams center.Knowing each other’s techniques, we both instantly swung at it knocking it into our skates. We were holding each others sticks up unable for both of us to get it. That‘s when the Rams right wing skated to us and grabbed the puck. He skated straight through our defense for a breakaway. Everyone was tired and sweating like a pig. Legs burning not wanting to move. Me and Drew skated down the ice passing back and forth passing all the other players till it was us and the goalie. I pass to Drew, who did a slap shot CLING!!!!! He hit the post. The defense was on us instantly and the forwards battling in the corner. The Rams won the battle and took it down to Titus.
