Until recently, I had an undiagnosed sleep disorder that had a large negative impact on my school work. Through the right treatment, I have been able to stay alert, focused, and have a better understanding of my classes. I feel that my condition has made me a better student, because it has taught me how to function without treatment, that I have to work twice as hard as the average student to succeed, and that I have to persevere through every obstacle in order to achieve my goals. I have also learned that I need to act quickly and find a tutor when I feel that I am falling behind in a subject.
