After ingesting a liquid anesthesia drug the doctors gave me, I seemed to have a lot of energy, but waking up from the anesthesia was quite the opposite; I had trouble waking up. I ended up with many stitches and a swollen face. My lips were swollen for a week, so I could only open my mouth wide enough for a straw. My meals were either liquid or foods, soft enough to go through a straw, like applesauce, jello, and yogurt.
