Personal Narrative: Separation From The Air Force

I was arrested for a DUI in March 2014. I never usually drive if I have been drinking, but I went with friends to celebrate my separation from the Air Force. I thought I was okay to drive home. I was stopped at stop sign and was asked if I had been drinking. I said yes, and submitted to a field sobriety test, I failed. I denied a breathalyzer because the cop stated I would lose my license, so I opted for the blood BAC test, which was taken 2 hours after my arrest. In April, the judge ordered me to 6 months of unsupervised probation, a $1355 fine – paid, and __ hours of community service. After I completed all the requirements from the courts my charge was lessened to a reckless driving in November 2014. As a result of this experience, the lesson
