My parents were invested in my education and wanted me to thrive, so they put me into a private school called Turlock Christian. There, I would better my education and learn more about God. My life was perfect! I had the ideal American life, yet I took it all for granted. Instead of asking my parents for materialistic things, I would demand it. Never understanding that the lifestyle that I lived was of privilege. When I would go to school I would say and do the right things to make myself look like a good little Christian girl. On paper I looked involved, I played three varsity sports, became the A.S.B vice president, and I even went the extra mile and joined a weekly bible study group. Though, day in and day out I was just going through the motions of life and not looking or hearing what God 's will was for me. That would all change when God pulled on the strings of my heart to go on my school 's summer missions
