Once again, I turn left where the earth embraces saltwater bodies, and as swamped by their grand manner I lose that bit of conformism still harbors in that vagabond mind of mine. I like too many things and get all confused and hung-up running from one falling star to another till I drop exhausted yet excited to feel alive. “A leader has to watch every word he or she says and quickly learns that you can’t go through life without a few critics, some well deserved” (pg. 5), this quote as some of the beginning words from MacDonald truly shows that a leader has responsibilities to uphold to. I found it interesting that he showed these responsibilities are not only external, but internal as well. Many do not realize the internal battles that leaders in ministry go through, and in order for leaders to handle a situation in a mature manner; they must uphold to the responsibilities of character they are expected to maintain. There are many internal and external expectations of leaders that are specified in Building Below the Waterline, but only some really stood out to me as factors that I would practice more than others in my leadership positions.…

Water I love getting whisked away into stories of adventures and heroism. Stories that made you look at our world and seem to think it was so astonishing yet so simple, that we were yet to create the futuristic tools books spoke of. Or that we were yet to find the magic that was hidden underneath all the layers of science. I was the only one in my family who had the love for the alternate realities that everyone spoke of. That was before my step father came in.…

Since I had such huge success with my salt water powered car, I decided to put a spin on the sale of my products. I decided to make something like a car, but also spice it up a little bit. What I did was I made it inflatable and able to run on water. With that being said it was a fully functional car, but if you ever wanted to take it across the water to maybe shorten a trip or just for pure enjoyment then you could do so. I didn’t really need this product to keep my car company at the top.…

It was a bright sunny cliche day out at the lake’s airport with only one or two thin wispy clouds high in the Bright baby blue sky. The Sun was beating down on the wide gray runway. The grass was a yellowy color as if the caretakers of the fine establishment did not care if it looked as if they didn’t maintain their property. As the spectating parents and grandparents took bets as how long till we crash, I was thinking on how to get into the plane without bending a wing.…

While the restaurant was not familiar to me, it was for my parents, given that they have been there numerous times before during their past trips.…

As I look at the mirror I saw her stepping out of her house calling the dogs in order with a loud voice saying “Stop that” and she approached me with a smile saying afraid not as we both walked back to the house. She open the door and offer me to sit in the living room where I could see a bible and a note she is writing.
