I woke up dazed, dizzy as if I were dehydrated, my wife crashed, I don’t remember that. I heard a sound (uuunnnnnhhh) I turned left it’s my wife. She looked like a cheap George Romero zombie she tried to attack me, but her seat belt got stuck. I unclipped my seat belt, and I threw myself on the ground. Then I realized, my daughter! I panicked, and I tried to open the back door. It’s locked. There is only one thing I can do. I ran to the driver’s door, to unlock the back door. I fight and fight to get my little Rosie out of the car. I tried to remove the lock on the door, ouch!! She bit me. My zombie wife bit me. With my daughter in my arms, I start to think what can I do to save my daughter. Two out of three reported safe zones weren't safe …show more content…
For when I turn into a zombie, I would attract my attention to the dead flesh instead of unspooling my daughter’s brains.

I walked and walked for hours- Rosie won’t stop crying. I enter a residency trying to find some survivors. I found a birthday party that was cut short. I showed her a birthday hat she won’t stop crying. In front of me there was a helium tank, I inserted a pink balloon on the nozzle, and it inflated. Rosie giggles- it’s so cute how she giggles. I continued my adventure until a pain hits my chest like venom. Everything in my eyesight was just blurry, I’m dizzy, and I can barely walk. I fall onto the ground, a sudden pain attacks my inner body. It’s worse than that time I got kidney stones. I screamed at the top of my lungs. I had always heard that your entire life flashes in front of your eyes. For me, it seemed more than a second. I saw my parents, whom I haven’t seen since they died. Camping with my father when I was a Boy Scout. My first date, my first kiss, and the moment I laid my eyes on my wife, and I knew I was bound to marry her. My vision concluded with the birth of my daughter, the highlight of my life. The moment she first opened her eyes, and she grabbed my finger with her whole hand. Since then I knew that everything, I was and had belonged to

I am known for the "American System" and known as the "Great Compromiser," however I have accomplished and been through so much more than that. Born in 1777 in Hanover County, Virginia, I was exposed to American history since I was young. In 1797, I moved to Kentucky along with many others wanting to pursue careers in law and politics. My political career began in 1803 when I was elected to the Kentucky General Assembly then appointed to the U.S. Senate in 1806. I was Secretary of State under John Quincy Adams.…

The pain began slowly, pricking me with its sharp needles only while doing barre in ballet once a week. I ignored it, believing it to be normal, common discomfort that would soon go away, typical thoughts of a dancer whose entire sport is centered around “good pain”. Six months later, it had escalated to the degree that every step I took felt like an arrow to my knee. Dancing had become impossible, and it was determined that I should be taken to the orthopedist. The bland, brown and beige lobby became extraordinarily familiar as I waited two hours to be examined.…

In fifth grade I had this teacher named Ms. Gonzalez, who was really into theater, and she was always telling us about her plays. She was full of character, full of creativity, and so much fun to be around! Her and I easily connected in that year, and a few other students had no problem softening up to her as well, but it seemed only a selected few really got to her. When the recess bell rang, Ms. Gonzalez had told me and two other girls to stay after class, and of course I didn’t move from my seat as the kids filed out. I waited patiently as she checked for the two other girls, one of my best friends named Ali and another friend named Alizza.…

I can remember every single detail and every event that led me to meeting some of the most fantastic people I will ever know. I remember it was November 12th, and I saw a post on Tumblr from a blog I follow, run by a transgender boy named Mikey from Vina, talking about seeing a band, FrnkIero andthe Cellabration live. I also happened to like this band, so we started talking, and I asked my mom if I could go to the concert, even though it was 2 hours away in San Francisco, and to my surprise, she said yes. We started talking back and forth through asks on Tumblr until we exchanged Kik usernames and started talking through there. Then one day, on January 11th, I met 2 more people going to the concert.…

I’ve witnessed many things, but nothing like what I saw on March 14, 1964. Genovese was gruesomely killed in our own neighborhood! Not sure on what to feel, I turned my head. “I am dying,” I heard her yell, I turned and looked out my window to find her bleeding-trying to get away from an armed male. The assailant then looks up and sees me, I became afraid.…

Expecting Hannah’s team to appear racing down the finish line, I paid little consideration to anything except the fascinatingly diverse range of conversation around me. To my right, our coach was talking to a visitor, demonstrating something that apparently confused her. Behind me, a few friends were commandeering a barbeque, and to my left, away from the bay, one of my teammates was conversing with a friend about school. After about forty-five minutes of watching and listening to the activities taking place around me, I finally decided that I was disinterested.…
