Personal Narrative-Running Shoes

The new cross country season was approaching and my old shoes were all worn out. I decided that it was finally time to retire my beloved running shoes and move onto the next pair. Hoping for the best, I went to go get my new shoes and when I walked into the shop, right away, a perfect blue pair of shoes caught my eyes. I went up to a nice lady and she showed me all the pairs of shoes that fit my shoe type, luckily, the ideal blue pair were an option. I gave them a test run and everything was perfect about them, so I thought , they was just the right size, not to big not to small, not to heavy not to light, and not to chubby. It was almost like they were calling for me to buy them. I walked out of the shop content with my new purchase; however, I did not know what I have gotten …show more content…
I wanted to wear them for the least amount of time as possible.They looked at me with a wicked smile. The girl keep whispering to her sister about me; I could tell they had something awful in store for me. I thought about throwing them away; however, I decided to give them a try. They snickered at me while I was tightening there laces. I got outside and knew immediately that this was going to be the worst run of my life, and man was I right. In the first mile I could already feel a blister forming on both feet! The twins squeaked as I ran down the long windy road. They did not like this one bit more than I did. For awhile nothing else happened but then the livid girls released there fury on me. All of a sudden my feet felt like they were on fire, but I couldn't stop running; they were literally forcing my feet to keep moving. I broke down crying but what I didn't realize was that the evil twins also untied my shoelaces. I tripped over my own feet and fell to the ground. They laughed at me with a villainous laugh.
