Personal Narrative: Runnin Running

I live and breathe running. I dont go a day not thinking or talking about it. For the past 6 years I have been fully dedicated to this sport and now running has grown from a side activity to a passion. I got involved with running on accident. After moving to Texas my sixth grade year, I was under the impression that cross country was another word for soccer and that was the sport I was in in my former home. So that summer going into seventh grade year, I ran miles after miles thinking that the “soccer coach” wanted the team to be in shape. Once the first practise rolled around though, I came to realize there was not a soccer ball insite, but I stayed in cross country because I'm not a quitter; and now I have done cross country as well as track every year. …show more content…
If I'm having a bad day, I will go out and run a couple miles to get all the frustration out; or if Im bored on a summer's day, I will go for a run to burn some time. If I go a few days without running, I will feel like a part of me is missing and I will crave the sensation of running. While I'm running I feel like it's just me and the ground and I could go wherever I wanted. I feel free from responsibilities, obligations, work, stress, and worries. All I think about while I run is my day to day life, but how I could prove it or work out problems, which basically makes running my own personal therapist. My most favorite part about running is though, is how I feel after the workout is over. I love the feeling of accomplishing the running goal I had for that day and I feel healthier inside and
