Personal Narrative: Routine Patrol

While on routine patrol I saw two male suspects on was a white male the other was a black male. They were both standing beside the family friendly hotel located at 1985 S. Groesbeck Hwy. I observed Gregory Allen smith walk into the rental officer then walks back to where his friend was standing. Then Robert James jones appears to do walk into the back to where the friend were standing. Then after they were done talking, then Gregory decided to enter into a gray mustang that was parked around the rental office. Then I observed Robert pull his hood up and put his hands in his pocket and observed Gregory slowly was creeping up to the rental office. I called out my location which 1985 Groesbeck Hwy I then called out to dispatch was saying that there is an armed robbery in progress and I proceed to describe the vehicle getaway car that it was a grey ford mustang. I then called for backup. Before he was about to walk in the store with it being 80 degrees and observing him wearing so many articles of clothing I approached with my gun drawn because he still had his hands in his pocket and I asked him to take his hands out of his pocket slowly as he took his hands out of his pocket. The Other weapon that was identified at the scene was a Pistol – colt model 1911. The caliber was a .45.
Evidence:
The evidence that was recovered from 1985 Groesbeck Hwy around 16:10 was collected by our evidence tech Officer Jones (see supplemental report) what appears to be a pistol – glock that was recovered from the vehicle it was tagged with a number of G234. What appears to be a handgun that was recovered from suspect 2. The other pistol that was the 1911 was also tagged with G234. Both pistols were then placed in separate boxes and then places in our evidence room.
