For example, Addison Taylor doing the right thing, being the protagonist and Sydney Grace being the antagonist doing the wrong thing. I called my narrative Rumours because teenagers are generally interested in gossip and rumours in within their friend groups so I thought that it would attract teenage

The specific audience I imagine that my paper is aimed at are adults that like short realistic fiction stories. The reason is that the story I am focusing on is “Lets Go to the Videotape”, which is a seven page realistic fiction story, and the other literatures I reference to is about realistic fiction. The literature that I write and relate to has to deal with adult situations, such a single parent in “Lets Go to the Videotape” or “Last Chance” that is about a drug addict dealing with his difficult family. These situations and plots are not suitable for young children, so it must be for an older age group. In addition, why for people that like short realistic fiction stories since majority of these literature works is no longer than 10-15…

Another hot summer in Idaho at another family reunion. I chased after my dad and brother’s cloud of dust; reving my ATV’s (all terrain vehicle) engine I whipped around the land my great great uncle homesteaded on. My confidence grew as did my speed until my wheel caught and spun me right into a log that pierced through the fender and into my leg. It was the first time I ever blacked out. When I came too a few seconds later I was alone; high on the trails of the Sawtooth mountains, blood gushing from my shin.…

It couldn’t have been past 10 a.m. when the alarm went off. We all knew what it meant- we were firefighters, it’s what we do. The fire chief told us that an apartment complex in downtown Boston had gone ablaze, and that it was really bad. We quickly got into our uniforms and hopped on as the fire truck left the station. We were a few miles away before I saw the smoke, a dark giant against the bright blue sky.…

Jackie Robinson once said “I’m not concerned with your liking or disliking me… all I ask is that you respect me as a human being.” This was my motto as i moved to the USA from Egypt at the age of six years old. It had been a year after my brother was born, i had made a lot of friends in kindergarten, had my dad’s side of the family here, i had finally learned to read and write a little bit of Arabic, and was about to go to first grade.…
