Personal Narrative: Restructuring

There were many events that impacted me and made me more mature. When I was around the age of 13, I ran for student council. I became the Officer At Large. My job was to be available when the President, Vice President, Secretary, or Treasurer was not. I took secondary notes and had to attend every meeting. To me, back then, that may have sounded like a lot, but the truth is, it was nothing compared to the roles I began to get in High School. I believe running for student council, in middle school, and obtaining that line of duty, was just the gateway of me transitioning from childhood to adulthood. Who would’ve thought that something that sounded so simple turned out to have been so complicated.
