I met with Kristi Kramer in the front lobby of the Griffith police station in reference to Kristi stating her husband was threatening her.

Kristi stated that her husband is going around telling people that she is abusing pills and is also draining their bank account. Kristi stated that these allegations are un true. Kristi further stated her husband is refusing to let her visit with her step daughter. Kristi stated that they are both still currently married and neither one has filed for divorce yet.

I advised Kristi that what her husband was saying is not considered a threat as far as Indiana Code is concerned and that this was a civil issue. I further advised Kristi that she needed to file for divorce and seek legal separation. I
