The name Renelle was created by combining Renford and Michelle names together. Growing up I didn’t value how beautiful my name was because I felt awkward having a name that was out of the norm. I also did not like how I had to continuously correct people on the correct pronunciation of my name. However, as I grew older I found out how special my name was and began to admire it learn that I am not just another individual that blends into the crowd, I am an exceptional human being who will not be defined by societal norms.

In the near future when I begin my practice as a social worker I do plan on implementing the use of an Eco-map. I will use the eco-map once I begin my session with a new client just to get a broad overview of who the client is and what they believe are systems that affect them. I will also use an Eco-map if I feel as if the client is not opening up during our sessions, I will use it to stem conversations by asking what they believe causes the different relationship they have between the systems they labeled. Another way an Eco-map can is used is to understand what the client views as their support system, whether they find comfort in their church, family, or friends the Eco-map shows you their comfort zone. The overall goal I believe of a social worker is to provide empowerment to our clients so that they may make a difference in their own life. Therefore, the ecomap can be used as a figure for the client to see what system in their life is hindering their growth or progression to the next level so that they can remove the negative out of their

We had only begun the excavation the previous day and had already uncovered one-fifth of the ancient pyramid. I, as well as a team of high-ranking archaeologists, had accompanied Sarah Parcak in an expedition to unearth a lost Egyptian pyramid. “How’s your section of the chamber coming along, Erica? An ecomap on the other hand, focuses more on the outside support system such as community and friends. Outside support system is those outside of the nuclear family such as neighbors, church members, and family friends.
