Personal Narrative: Reducing My Ecological Footprint

Improved Essays
We are almost at the point of no return. The Earth’s environment is on a downward spiral due to the use of fossil fuels that displace carbon dioxide and other harmful gasses into our atmosphere every day. With the increasing population, non-reusable resources are being depleted at a rapid rate, and the negative consequences of using these resources have only just begun. It’s a scary reality, but I am determined to do everything I can with my lifestyle in order to reduce my ecological footprint and to help save the environment one person at a time. I am very interested in the environment and that is reflected in my everyday activities. During school, I am enrolled in a course geared towards learning about the environment and ways to save it.
