One beautiful morning, in Organelle City, a chair was thrown out of a window from city hall .
“Our city isn’t safe anymore!” exclaimed the chair thrower(also known as the mayor).
“What happened?” asked the lead construction worker as he looked up from showing an intern his newest blueprints.
“Our borders have been breached by someone named the Virus!”
“That’s terrible! But at least the gates and walls are there to stop the Virus!”
“The gates and walls have also unfortunately been breached. Now, run along there is no time to waste!”
Just as the lead construction worker left, the mayor hollered, “Someone put me on the line with the Patrol Officers AND THE COUNCIL MEMBERS!” Almost immediately, the council members and the head patrol officer walked into the meeting room.

So, get to work! You, patrol officer-”
“Sorry for interrupting. But do you know what this means? All of the gates and walls have passcodes that only a high level officer would have access to. Even I do not have access to them. This means that there is a traitor in Organelle City!” exclaimed the patrol officer.
A collective gasp was heard throughout the room.
“If this is true, you will be rewarded greatly officer. But if it is not, I will be going after your head. Send word to postal services, the shipping service, the food storages, the power plant, the crayon factory, and even the garbage trucks! We will find Virus!”
All around the city, businesses stopped and stores shut down. Everyone was required to search through the local stores hoping to find some sort of clue. After hours of searching, the mayor found a clue! The clue was in the form of a clueless postal service intern.
“ Where do you work?” questioned the

It turns out that the Commission was nothing if not meticulous, documenting the gamut of its exploits in accommodation of white supremacy. It initially fixated on tracking the activities of civil rights organizations in Mississippi, but within a few years it had mushroomed into a full-scale spy agency, employing a network of investigators and agents who surveilled civil rights activists, tapped their phones, monitored their meetings, purloined sensitive documents, and undermined voter rights efforts. The Commission was ruthless, waging an all-out war against change. Perhaps most painfully, it assembled a cadre of African American informants, some of them venerated figures from within the civil rights community, who reported to the Commission…

As we continue to get older we are often exposed to more. We are exposed to the reality of the world we live in. We are exposed to the good, the bad and the ugly. Nowadays we cannot turn on the TV, log into our social media accounts or talk to our friends without reading, watching or hearing about another police shooting, specifically at a black male. Racial profiling, discrimination, police brutality and the Black Lives Matter movement are all “hot” topics circulating around the media lately.…

Another serious form of misconduct, also one of the most controversial, is racial profiling. There are endless examples of racial profiling by police, the most popular being that of Rodney King, a black man who was brutally beaten on tape by several police officers. It has been found through research and surveys that minorities hold a much more negative view towards police and that police hold a negative view towards minorities. It has recently been debated that police use race as a basis for stopping, questioning, and searching citizens. However, the public might believe that racial profiling is worse than it actually is due to the way the media portrays it.…

The United States of America is known as the “land of the free”, but seems to have a serious problem with racial profiling, which includes police who target people of color and minority ethnicities for no reason at all. These innocent individuals are discriminated based on their appearance, by their race and also by their skin color which is clearly discriminatory. Those who judge them do not even realize how these individuals are suffering because of this problem. For this reason, racial profiling violates everything the United States stands for. It is unjust to treat others differently just because they are from other races; Every immigrant should feel some modicum of freedom in the United States of America.…

Racial profiling is a problem that has been going on in the United States for far too long. Everyday, people are being pulled over and searched just because of their race or their ethnic background. This leads to many problems, such as the accused becoming upset, feeling he/she is being wronged because of race. These feelings may cause the accused to become uncooperative or hostile. When this happens, the officer is then more likely to act aggressively in the situation, which can very easily turn into a slippery slope of unfortunate events.…
