Personal Narrative: Rachel Meyers As A Role Model

Finding someone to admire is a difficult task in itself. The title of role model can be bestowed to anyone ranging from a celebrity or to the local mail carrier. Whoever it is, they are someone you are proud to look up to no matter what, and can always depend on. Fortunately, I have a person who I partisan and proudly call my role model. This person goes by the name Rachel Meyers, she has been my role model for two years and she is a marvelous friend of mine.
Rachel Meyers is an ordinary college student, going into the medical field to be a gynecologist, and has a job. She always tries to be optimistic, despite all the stress she is under. At times, her actions might portray that she is a timid person, but do not be easily deceived. If needed, Rachel can take charge in any situation and overcome the problem laid before her. I have seen her take our whole youth group and pull them together to do various events. Not only are her leadership skills superb, but her passion for the religion that we share is remarkable. When I enrolled in the Methodist community, I was bewildered, uncertain, and intimidated. Instead of leaving me in the dark, she become one of my first friends there and helped me through the Methodist religion. Now, I have enlisted in many church events because of all the help that was given by her. Rachel's kind personality helped me open up and encourage me to interact with others. Whether it was a stranger or a dear friend Rachel always managed to put a smile on their faces. One time during childcare there was a child weeping for their mother to return. Rachel played with the child, bringing comfort distracting them with fun, and soon they were flowing with joy. Rachel always has a smile on her face, and it can be quite contagious. With such a likable personality, she makes me want to strive to be a better person in
