States. It was all I could think about since the outdoor track season commenced. Qualifying for the Pennsylvania State Meet had been my ultimate goal for as long as I could remember. Just imagining myself in the ranks with such elite athletes was enough to get me excited. There was just one final hurdle to jump: placing in the District 1 meet.
