President Obama once said, “The best way to not feel hopeless is to get up and do something.” In life we are presented with lots of obstacles to overcome. Some will knock you down but if you get up and keep pushing you will overcome them. I can say to you I have seen the darkness, but I have also seen the light, although the tunnel is dark. There is a light at the end. Throughout all the times of only seeing darkness, I realized it was only because of one reason. At the time, I had a person I needed to let go; I was under the impression I loved her and everything in this essay started with her.
