As a kid, I was close to my grandpa. Later on, I learned that he was one of the cofounders of Saihat Society for Social Services, which’s the first established social organization nationwide. The weird thing that I found is that none of my uncles nor my dad have followed in his foot steps. I can’t force them to do anything but I can do something myself. I can give back to the community that I grew up in. Joining NHS wouldn’t just allow me to do that, it’d also give me the opportunity to work with other people with such high goals.
