Personal Narrative On The Beach

Dad was getting the boat loaded, mom was packing all the bags, Tucker and I were just waking up and getting dressed, and it is 4:30 in the morning. All these things are done to get ready to load up in the truck and drive to Little Gasparilla for a day of fishing. A day of fishing to get us away from our hectic life and to relax. Little did we know that patience was going to be needed that day. We were packing everything in a zombie-like state, still half asleep and groggy because it was so early. We were grabbing everything needed for the day ahead of us. I packed the sunscreen and towels and mom packed the food and extra clothes, while dad and tucker loaded up the boat and all of our fishing poles. As soon as we were packed and ready, we got in the truck and started on our trip to Little Gasparilla. …show more content…
Dad unloaded the boat and we set out towards the sea. The first thing we had to do was get bait. We drove to the bait shop, pulled up to the dock and then got some bait. Then we set out to the first fishing spot. The first place we tried was back in the mangroves and we did not have much luck. We just kept casting our lines out there and a fish would steel our bait, without getting hooked. We were not getting anything there so we moved on. With hopeful hearts, we casted out in the second hole but to our disappointment nothing was
