All I had in mind was the sunset at the time. The sun lit up the sky, making it a golden pink. Life had definitely been a real challenge for me. I just wanted to live a decent life. At the start, it wasn't. I took a long time to progress to finally have something I haven't given up till this day. Though this is only where it started. The sunset made me feel comfort and warmth. I gazed into the beautiful sky. I never wanted to leave. I stared at the sky for about an hour. Eventually, the sky started to become a dark blue, as I began searching for about the 16th time in Tulsa, Oklahoma for shelter. Tired? Hungry?” asked Darry. I just nodded and he knew what I meant. Soda got me some spare clothes, Darry started cooking dinner, and Ponyboy got some blankets and pillows and insisted that I laid down on the couch. I was absolutely surprised. These boys were taking care of me and we had only met 5 minutes ago.I had never experienced anything like this before. I’ve never had someone care about me so much before. I mean yes, I had friends before, but they treated me poorly and we all parted ways while I was left alone. I never really liked living like that; and when I was forced to find shelter within the past 17 days, I realized that. Honestly, my life sucked. It wasn’t about the people. It was about the wealth and the popularity.I know that isn’t right but I just played the game that we called “Life”.I snapped out of my thought and went and got dressed in the bathroom. I came back out to Pony with blankets and pillows. I decided I’d ask him, if I didn't, it’d bug me all night. “Ponyboy, why are you guys taking care of me?
