Personal Narrative On Prole

So there's this girl I often see after "classes" and she's even in the same troop with me. I don't know why, but recently every time I see her I get this feeling. I don't know to describe it except for a pain in my chest and somewhere a lower. She's nothing special: brown hair in a ponytail low on her head, round face, average height and build, hazel eyes, not exceptionally large or small chest but, large enough that it's noticeable. I hate her.

It was drilled into us since we reached of age that any feelings like this were useless. They're disgusting and only cause trouble. The only people who feel like this are Proles, low class and dirty sub-human things that live in the Party's ghettos. Everyone knows that Prole women sell themselves for that disgusting Victory gin that my father seems to like so much. This is the radar knowledge but it's still well-known.

I don't know what to do! She seems to be on my mind a lot lately and every time I sleep I can't help about dreaming about her. It's even worse in the morning. Ugh! I don't even want to think about

I work for my dad on our family ranch in Jones Creek, Texas. The work is hard, backbreaking, and tiring. Everyday when I get home I eat the meal that my momma makes for us: there is no arguing whether or not that is what you are having for supper. Every night I get in bed completely wore out from a hard days work, then I wake up to do it all again in the morning. This job is not for everyone, however it is for me.…

Last night my dog bit me! My dad about shot him in the head with a shotgun, but I told him not to because that Bruiser, my dog, is too stupid to know what he did. He still wanted to shoot him in the face so I stood in front of Bruiser and told my dad to lower his weapon. I knew he would because I’m his baby girl and I can get anything I want, but I don’t do that because then I would be a spoiled brat and no one wants that.…

I come from a family of seven with me being the fourth out of five kids. I was always the shy kid in school, so I did not stand out in my classes as much as the other kids. The only thing that set me apart from my classmates and siblings was my grades. Getting straight A’s practically my entire life had made me the go-to person for homework help. Throughout middle school and high school, my younger sister would always get sick with migraines.…

I entered the door of my local high school, and I felt the uneasiness fly away. I moved through the hall where on the side I saw the countless golden and silver trophies. As I continued down the hall I saw a desk that has four pieces of paper on the bottom with letters that were organized through last name. A's-G's were on the far left while S's-Z's were on the right. I went toward the desk to get my schedule.…

Did that really just happen? “Come join us at soccer tryouts next Friday at the main field after school!” read the big, white flyer which I had picked up previously in the week after hearing about this eye-opening news during morning announcements. I was sitting on the bench outside reading the details as I waited in line for the person whose reaction I was most anxiously waiting to see. As a 5th grader, my first instinct was to alert my mom right away, which is exactly what I did as soon as I got in the passenger seat of the all black sedan.…

My friends were 1.3 meters tall, with dark-green skin color, and wore antiqued “watches”. They were called lockers; my best friends in middle school. I was once submissive. Feared, I would protect myself by speaking “Yes”, “No”, or “I don’t know” to camouflage from others. Every day I would sit in the Special Education hallway with my friends numbered “1023-1031”, plug in my headphones, and separate myself from the rest of the world.…

A week of vacation involved sleeping late, a boat load of candy, and spending time with family and friends. Other than the Reese's cup in my lunch box, the respite was over, because this was the first day back from spring break. The reality of high school came crashing in again. Stella and her evil minions approached me as I slammed my locker shut. “Hey Emily, I think you should know something,” Stella snapped.…
