“But it's five in the morning” I whined, but I knew if I wanted to get Mr. Crabs, the biggest deer on our property I would have to get out there. So I crawled out of bed and took a quick shower. I texted my dad saying “Crabs down.” I waited my thirty minutes and walked to where he was and I saw no blood. I panicked, I knew I missed.
That following day I went home and sighted in my rifle. I was so mad I had not taken my dad’s advice and done that before season. I had gotten it sighted in and the only thing left to do was wait until next season. It was a long hard summer but when season came around I was ready to go.
