Personal Narrative On Mr Crabs

“Wake up Carson” my dad said as he shook me awake, “It is time to go Hunting.”
“But it's five in the morning” I whined, but I knew if I wanted to get Mr. Crabs, the biggest deer on our property I would have to get out there. So I crawled out of bed and took a quick shower. While I was in the shower I couldn’t stop thinking about Mr.Krabs and the wonderful opportunity I could have in less than an hour on the monster buck.
My dad, Nathan Petreikis interrupted my thoughts when he came into the bathroom and said “hey cupcake you wanna get ol Mr. Crabs or not”
Startled I said “be out in a minute” and turned the faucet off and grabbed my towel. I dried off and got dressed so we went upstairs and headed out. I was sitting on the east side of a food plot in a blind we called the redneck. I sat in wait for about an hour till I saw some action I saw to deer busting across the field. I figured it was because my crazy uncle Sam. I

I texted my dad saying “Crabs down.” I waited my thirty minutes and walked to where he was and I saw no blood. I panicked, I knew I missed.
That following day I went home and sighted in my rifle. I was so mad I had not taken my dad’s advice and done that before season. I had gotten it sighted in and the only thing left to do was wait until next season. It was a long hard summer but when season came around I was ready to go.
The day had started out much like last years opening day. I didn’t see anything until about an hour in. But this time it was a much more dramatic entrance for Mr. Crabs. I had a small eight point in front of me eyeing some nice does. I was watching them and was to distracted to notice Mr.Crabs coming in to bust that eight point up. The eight point left without a fight but when Ol Crabs got in range, I popped him. He laid right in his tracks and I knew I had just killed the biggest deer in my

Another animal adapted to the abiotic factors of the Nudgee Beach mangrove ecosystem is the common soldier crab (Mictyris longicarpus). The common soldier crab is a small crustacean that typically travels in “armies” of thousands to ensure strength in numbers when feeding. Soldier crabs feed off of particle detritus in the mudflat sediment and retreat back into the sand as the tide rises [11]. With their jointed legs and pointed dactylus, soldier crabs are able to burrow underground and can remain secluded – by creating an air pocket around them – for as long as the tide is high. This…

and I felt something hit the lure, I waited a couple minutes and something hit the lure again, I set the hook and the rod bent and the fish fought back. I was reeling and reeling and I finally saw it and grabbed it, it was a walleye, I had to watch out for the teeth because they are sharp and they hurt if they bite you. It kind of surprised me because people have told me that there is only flathead catfish back there. I think it was at least a 3 pound walleye, I caught a couple more walleye then put them on the stinger I had with me.…

When I was a little boy I didn’t have many fears. I wasn’t scared of the dark or the monster under my bed. I was terrified of Slugger The Sea Dog, a mascot for my local minor league baseball team. I couldn’t tell what it was about him. Maybe it was his oversized head.…

My worst experience occurred on October 11th, 2015 during the youth hunt. It was my first time being able to shoot the deer while shooting. It was Sunday, after a full day of seeing a lot of does and 0 bucks. We hunted the morning and didn’t see anything, so we went back to the cabin for lunch. After laying around for awhile I told my dad it was time to go back out to the stand.…

My First Deer One brisk 30 degree day in January, when I was nine years old, was a day for which I was extremely excited. My dad got me out of school earlier that day, so we could go deer hunting. I had already shot a turkey the year before, so guns were nothing new to me. We made a quick stop at my house so that we could pick up the .243 youth edition, a really short barreled .243, that my dad had bought just about a month before so that we could go hunting, and I would actually be able to handle the gun. At this point we did not have the hunting land that we do today, so we went to my grandpa’s house and hunted in the clearing of trees behind his house.…

Throughout life we are all faced with different challenges. Some challenges can help us progress as people, others can cause pain or hurt. Either way, as people I personally feel we are supposed to learn a lesson when we are faced with challenges. I strongly believe that everything happens for a reason. With that being said, it is entirely up to you on how you proceed after being faced with a challenge.…
