I felt the blood rushing down my face like a raging river. Out of the corner of my eye I saw some of my friends ward jack off like sailor crew and a mutinous crew member. My friends sat me up and carried me to the backyard. It felt like i was a wounded soldier being carried away by his fellow squad mates. I plopped down on Julia's porch bench.it was cold and I could feel the despair. I heard multiple footsteps come charging out of the backdoor. I closed my eyes and fell asleep to complete darkness again. I felt no pain and was comfortably numb. I awake again to the Villa girls acting like they just got out of nursing school by cleaning up my blood and keeping me awake. I could feel my face swell like a balloon, it was a strange feeling I had never felt before. The atmosphere was in shock and awe as everyone their couldnt believe the chaos that just happened. I could see all of my friends around me standing there in straight shock. It was like they saw their fellow brother get murdered. I felt fingers brushing through my hair and a warm hug around me. It felt calming and I could feel the kindness. I looked to see who was grasping me and it was Julia. The look on her face was straight sorrow. I calmly looked over in the distance feeling all of my pain coming on me like a tidal wave, taking it like a

She was one of the girliest girls I knew since grade school, with her stylish culottes and pink garments of all different shades for all different occasions. She was the epitome of a mixture between pure innocence and quirk that boldly took her rightful place in the middle of my heart. Mary Anne wasn’t just all of that; she was also my affectionate girlfriend, my warm-hearted best friend who I could talk about anything with, from the most trivial things to the very meaning of our whole existence. At the time, all I could feel was the absolute joy that I got from spending my time with her. We had our entire happiness in the future planned out, a dream wedding and all, but maybe that was the reason why I wouldn’t have ever imagined that I would be feeling so lost and empty just a few years later, alone and missing a part of myself.…

I was flying, high up in the atmosphere, zooming past clouds, skirting birds, and basking in the hot sun. The sky, a never-ending vast expanse of teal blue, surrounded me, as I flew somewhere. And you’re dead as well. Only a day or two passes before your parents get the news that their son/daughter will not be coming home.…
