night being 16 years ago on this day, I’m sure America woke up still in shock or not even able to sleep through the the United States was on high alert after the towers have been hit by two planes flown by two suicide bombers on 9/11/01.
I woke up on the morning of September 11, 2001 and at the time I was 10 years old, I remember looking at the television that was on news and seeing the twin towers on fire and smoking. I didn’t understand back then what was going on, none of the adults in the house we’re talking about it or what had happened I just thought it was another day.
