Personal Narrative Of Overcoming My Injuries

Improved Essays
There have been many injuries that I have had to overcome.I dislocated my shoulder, then I tore my A.C.L,and then I broke my leg. My injuries have caused me to work through setbacks. They also taught me that every year is a new year and to learn from my mistakes. The last thing they taught me is to make the best out of every situation. My very first injury happened the week of my birthday. I was playing a basketball game and went for a jump ball. When I was on the ground fighting for the ball a guy fell on my shoulder. Everyone heard a loud “pop”. I ran back down the court and continued to play until I could get a substitute. I went to the hospital and they told me it was a sprain. A few days later i popped it back into socket and was okay
