After one day of driving it hard, my car let me down. It died. I got it started again, but it was hot. I was able to pull into a parking lot and call for a ride. It had to be towed to the shop after only having it a day. It spent a few days in the shop and got a new steering pump, tires, and other minor repairs and adjustments. I think during this time, the shop bent the rim because after that, there were problems keeping air in the front tire on the driver’s side. I was happy to have my car back and be able to show it off to my homies.
I only got to drive it a couple more days before it was going ka-clunk and felt like it was kicking me in the butt when I excelled. I was afraid it would be an expensive transmission issue. My mom was mad that she bought a clunker. I called around to different shops and found a transmission place to take it to. Having a BMW makes it a little more difficult to find mechanics to work on my car. The transmission shop said the transmission was fine, but the drive shaft needed replaced. BMW’s drive shaft is all enclosed and the whole thing had to be replaced. There were some other minor adjustments done. I got to pick it up three days later. You should always have insurance on your car because the girl who wrecked my car will have to pay for it eventually. I will not be parking in the street whenever I get another car. I hope I like the next car I get and it last longer than two
