I have participated in NYC’s Ladders for Leaders program for the past two years and I have not once regret participating. In those shorts 2 months each year, I had gained an extraordinary amount of experience that I can take into the workplace. For example, my internship at the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office last summer taught me to effectively work together to be able to efficiently finish our tasks. If I were to be on my own and worked independently, it would take me a drastically longer time and would never been able to meet my great co-workers. I would like to join Ladders for Leaders once again to gain even more experience in order to be more prepared for the workplace. As a student, experience is priceless and is essential to be successful
