In high school, I had no control of my emotional state. I have survived the sexual trauma and physical abuse from my childhood, but I could not express myself healthfully. I was only held together with duct tape and self-ignorance. I spiraled down, lost myself control, and who I tried to be. Not having control of my emotions has put me through countless troubles, challenge myself and loved ones, and lead me to discover and understand myself.
