She slid her dress over her head, wiggling as she pulled it down straightening, then and sat back on the bed, slipping on her new black, slingback pumps. In the bathroom she leaned close to the mirror, meticulously putting on her makeup before stepping back from the mirror, admiring her new dress. As a final touch, she applied rose red lipstick that went perfectly with her new spring dress. Not bothering to close the hotel door, she walked out, leaving a few clothing tags and receipts inside an empty shoebox on the floor, while her purse and a folded note were left on the bed. There was puddled blood surrounding what looked to be a headless female sprawled chest down on the floor. Alex switched on the DocuCam on his biohazard mask and got started. The protocol between BMT and local authorities was simple, technicians must document and record the entire scene as evidence including a 360 degree view of the body before collecting it. Then, one may proceed with the cleaning.

Alex slowly circled, leaving a smeared trail of bloody footprints while recording every angle. In a bit of sad irony, the deceased was wearing a bright and colorful dress and black pumps. Dressed more like she was going to a dinner party than her death.

Laying the body bag next to her, Alex saw she was still clutching the suicide device in her hand. Carefully, he pulled her arm down next to her body and straightened her leg. Walking around to her other side he put his hands under her shoulder and hip and gently rolled her onto the bag and heard a faint, muffled choking sound. Pulling his hands back, for a split second he stupidly thought she might still be alive. Hearing it again, he saw a rustling under the dress and pulled back the hem, and was shocked, in disbelief he saw a squirming newborn. It was a girl. She was tiny, and obviously a preemie.
