As I was excitingly woken up by my brothers on Christmas, I ran downstairs to see what I had gotten. I opened my presents like I do every year, and got excited about them like every year, and then thanked everyone for my presents like every year. As we had just finished up opening presents, expecting no more, my mom told my brothers and I that there was one more present and got out her phone. Whenever my mom pulls out her phone, the family knows she’s about to record something or take pictures . So, my brothers and I cautiously looked at each other, deciding if we should get excited or not. As we walked down the thirty foot wooden hallway with the dining room to the left and the front living room to the right, my brothers and I were in a silent …show more content…
I sat in the very back with the most room to myself, while Enzo and Marcello sat in the crammed middle row bickering about something that was probably very unimportant. The ride was going to be sixteen hours long, but nobody cared because of how fun the Ohio State game would be. So, after two days, we arrived in New Orleans. Our hotel room was quite small for five people, so we were itching to get out as we explored the city. That night, we had great dinner to start our three day stay in New Orleans. The next day, we woke up and hurried out the door to get into a cab and book it down to the French Quarter for some famous beignets. It was a beautiful 80 degree day, and. all around us were Ohio State fans who were just as excited for the College Football Playoff game as I was. It wasn’t everyday thing you got to see Alabama play OSU. The line for the beignets was extremely long but well worth the time. The savory treats were drowning in powdered sugar and irresistible to turn away. After exploring and enjoying New Orleans for the day, the big day had arrived, Ohio State was about to …show more content…
So, as we argued our way down to the New Orleans Stadium which is called the Superdome, we made our predictions. As we got closer the gigantic stadium, there were loads of people out tailgating and getting ready.. Finally, after about a mile's walk, we reached the stadium. The outside of the stadium was massive, in the shape of a dome of course, and was a grayish color. It took us awhile to get to a gate that we could enter, but once we did, we were in line listening to trash talk from opposing teams. After about 20 minutes of waiting, we got inside the concrete structure. We were directed into our section, smelling the savory sweets only found in stadium’s and filed into our seats. The stadium was massive and we were surrounded by OSU’s scarlet. On the other side of the stadium, Alabama fans were wearing deep crimson. Finally, the ball was kicked off by Alabama. The game was very close at halftime, Alabama was up by a narrow 1 point over OSU. The games was tight. My brothers and I had been screaming tirelessly. OSU finally beat Alabama in an intense thriller. As the game ended, my voice had died and I was very happy, like it was

Wandering around New Orleans during a hot and bustling summer day was a distinctive experience. The midsummer trip was to celebrate my recent convocation from high school and it was rightly a sterling decision to spend it out of state. Hearing the thunderous music coming from the joints, as well as seeing people & street performers dancing on the avenues of French Quarter made me feel overjoyed about visiting the city. The potentialities of the city are endless! There is so much to see and explore on such a modest locality; I could go neighborhood hopping, or perhaps, visit a historical place some other time.…
