It was a hot sunny summer day and I was enjoying the nice cool feel of my pool. I knew that later in the afternoon my friends Sierra and Ava would be coming over with their parents for our cookout. I could wait to eat my Dad’s smoked Brisket. As I was swimming I could smell the aroma in the air and it smelled like heaven. My dad came and told me that Ava was going to bring her brand new golf car for us to ride. I was so ecstatic because I had never been on a golf cart before. I was just a little before three before the girls and their parents got there. Her dad unloaded the cart and we took off. We were flying all around my yard. Doing donuts, twists and turns, but still being careful all at the same time. The food was finally done! we had

On a beautiful clear morning of February the 19th, my mom picked me up from my class at the University of West Georgia, then we went to Waffle House to have a nice breakfast. We left from Waffle House, proceeding down Maple Street, and turned onto South Street and immediately onto Kenner Street. We then turned onto on the merging lane on South Park Street (US Hwy 27) heading south, we immediately halted to a full stop as vehicles moved from the middle lane into the merging lane in front of us, but at that time there were no vehicles behind us. As we waited to enter traffic, a car suddenly struck us from behind which caused the car to jerk violently forward, causing my mother’s chest to hit the steering wheel, and our heads and bodies to whip forward and then back.…

Everyone wants a really fast car so that's why I used one of my wishes to buy one. My first wish would be to get a red red lamborghini aventador with green seats in the inside that has that new car smell. I would want that car because I could go really fast to places that take a while to get and I could show off. I would probably get to work faster if I was old enough. I hope I don't get a ticket for…

To this day some of my favorite memories growing up was watching the Masters golf tournament with my dad or just hitting plastic golf balls in the backyard. Golf was the game I loved ever since I was a little boy. That's the reason why getting cut from the golf team freshman year hurt so bad. I was numb with an empty depressed feeling inside me. Getting cut from the golf team taught me that in my darkest moments giving up would be easy, however with perseverance and dedication any goal can be accomplished.…

A crack pierced the air as my grandmother’s golf ball whizzed down the center of the fairway. I could do nothing but stare, awestruck, as she confidently stepped off the tee box. I was perplexed by how a short, older woman was able to create enough force to send a ball almost 200 yards. She signaled to me that it was my turn to hit, and my twelve-year-old self enthusiastically raced to the box. I placed the ball down and focused on my target in the distance.…

1ve you ever been involved in a sport or activity, but it was so difficult that it just wasn’t fun for you? Some instances that come to mind are volleyball games with coaches that yell at any wrong move the players make, all-day musical practices, gruesome wrestling matches, and just about any sport that involves running. Even though some people may be very good at some of these activities, the difficulty level and time necessary to succeed eliminate some of the joy that could be received from them. Golf has shown me that a competitive sport could still be enjoyable and not require an excessive amount of time. I joined the golf team only a year ago, but I started golfing at a young age with my mom and my grandpa as my teachers.…

My first car was something that I greatly was looking forward to getting as a child and my interest in getting one grew, as the days got closer to my sixteenth birthday. The first car I owned was a Automatic Black 2004 Ford f-150 truck, which I discovered on a website called Craigslist. It was priced at five thousand nine hundred dollars with only eighty-four thousand miles on it, which in my case was great considering that I could only afford a seven thousand dollar car. The truck came with all manual locks and windows and also had a small amount of hail damage that could really only be seen at a certain angle. But even with reasonable price on the truck I still attempted to negotiate for an even lower price to further my luck.…
