My mom was an elementary teacher at the school i attended, and although I never had her, I was held to very high expectations. Being the child of a teacher there, I knew if I ever acted up I would be reported right away to her. My brother who is 4 years older than me was also held to high expectations. I've been at the top of my class since I can remember, and should graduate the top of my class too. I've often been called a "try-hard" or "over-achiever" many times. But that's okay, because if being an "over-achiever" gets me to a successful life and future, then so be it. Being compared to my brother has also been a struggle of mine throughout life. Since he is a very smart, UW-Madison Engineer student, everyone always expected me to go to a top of the line school for a very high-paying career path. As annoyed as I got with all the expectations of me, I think it only bettered me and pushed me harder to be the person I am today!
With that being said, I have gone through circumstances that many could never imagine, and many people have gone through their fair share of circumstances that I myself could never imagine! I am who I am today and I am very satisfied with myself! College will only make me a better, stronger, and more rounded
