The perfect ritual begins with a cool writing environment. Writing in the heat is never beneficial because of how uncomfortable and stifling the environment can become. Sweat and humidity can collect on the paper which can cause focus to be directed to the undesirable atmosphere. Standard room temperature is acceptable, but can quickly become
